I had the opportunity to meet with former Heavyweight Boxing Champion Tommy “The Duke” Morrison (48-3-1. 42 KO’s) at Montreal based SP Promotion’s February 25th, 2011 Resurrection card at the Pierre Charbonneau Centre. Originally scheduled to face Montreal’s Erik Barrak, Morrison found himself unable to be licensed by Quebec’s regulatory authority (RACJ) and was replaced by former opponent Matt Weishaar. (more…)

It might have taken Bernard Hopkins seventeen years to get Roy Jones Jr back in the ring for a rematch but the final outcome (for B-Hop) made it worth the wait. He finally got his redemption last night, defeating Jones by a twelve round unanimous decision. (more…)
